Our client is a global Open Access publisher looking to hire a senior marketing manager to oversee all aspects of the marketing of a core subsection of their 230-strong OA journal portfolio. This is a new hire as part of a redevelopment of the marketing team following the hire of a new Marketing Director last year.
This is a mission-critical role requiring proven expertise across the full marketing mix with a strong emphasis on open access business models, digital marketing, high-calibre author engagement, social media and other channels and, ideally, exposure to integrated and automated marketing channels and tools.
The role reports to the Marketing Director and is based at HIndawi’s London offices. Base salary is £45-50k.
