Our client is the Journals division of one of the world’s leading academic publishers, with a substantial, high-quality journal portfolio across HSS and STM verticals. As part of a comprehensive review of its Marketing set-up globally, the division has created teams engaging with specific verticals to help drive a more customer-centric business ethos across the whole Journals business.

 

As part of this realignment, the division is now looking to hire two Marketing Directors based out of its US offices in Philadelphia, focusing on Author Engagement and on Library and Institutional Markets.

 

Both roles will be US-based but will lead global teams based both in the US and the UK.

 

These are mission-critical roles with a strong emphasis on business change, strategic vision and team leadership. They will best suit an ambitious senior marketing professional ready to step up to a Director-level remit and with the vision and drive to initiate positive change.
