Our client is a leading global open access journal publisher now looking to hire two Editorial Community Managers with responsibility for managing the relationship with the editorial boards for a specific list of journals within the overall portfolio. Each ECM will build a close working relationship with the academic editorial boards to develop the journals. This will include development of editorial board-led special issues and marketing and educational content supporting outreach to the academic editorial boards, as well as developing content from the boards for inclusion in Hindawi’s social media channels. The role will suit someone with experience in outreach to and management of editorial boards, community engagement with the relevant academic communities, a sound understanding of academic research structures and ideally experience of research publishing from the author’s perspective.
These roles will report to the Head of Community Marketing.
