Commercial Director, Corporate Sales, STM – US-based

Philadelphia or home-based, salary on application

Our client is the journals division of a leading global multi-disciplinary publisher with an impressive content portfolio. The group is now looking to hire a Commercial Director to focus on developing corporate sales, with a particular emphasis on growing new opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector. This is a front-line sales leadership role which will suit a proven senior sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and a demonstrable track record in growing both existing and new business in the pharmaceuticals sector and related markets.

You will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships and business with existing and prospective key contacts within pharma organisations, managing upselling and cross-selling of relevant content across the existing account list and at the same time developing relationships with publication managers within pharma organisations and medical communication agencies to encourage content submissions. You will be a key ambassador for the company, using every opportunity to build your existing market knowledge and to maximise visibility to the marketplace.

This is a US-based role which can be either home-based or working out of the group’s Philadelphia offices.
